About Me

My life has always been surrounded by creativity and I began to enjoy craft, embroidery and painting from such an early stage in my life. From a young age I had my education and life planned out and was determined in what career I would pursuit after leaving school. Upon leaving school I enrolled on a Btec National Diploma in Art and Design. This was a general course and i briefly learned Photography, Woodwork, Ceramics, Graphic and my specialized subject Textiles. Once completing my college course I went straight on to enroll for a Textile Surface Design course at the University of Bolton. I’m currently in my final year of my degree and I’ve adopted a lot of new skills from embroidery, hand and digitally printed fabrics, fashion design and ceramics, all combined with a high level of cad. At this point in time I would say that my area of specialism lies in hand and machine embroidery these are my more successful pieces of work. I like to look at architecture, photography, art, illustrations and exhibitions. Over the years I have inherited a passion for unique fabric, from charity shops and fabric store.
